PAFA seeks PFM expert

14 Jun 16

The Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) is looking to recruit a manager to lead its work on public financial management reform.

The role is co-financed by CIPFA and the successful candidate will be charged with the implementation of PAFA’s strategic objectives regarding the public sector.

In particular, the manager will carry out a PFM needs analysis for PAFA’s 43 members, work with donors to maximise support for PFM capacity building and encourage PAFA members to provide PFM-focused training.

PAFA is seeking an appropriately qualified individual with at least five years relevant professional experience, of which three are at management level.

They should have proven experience of differing PFM systems, a track record of providing technical advice to senior officials and development partners and hands-on experience in developing countries, particulary in Africa.
